The Prince Of Wales Hotel enjoys a superb location on Lord Street, placing guests within easy walking distance of numerous shops, bars, and cafes. Many guests find the rooms spacious, with some mentioning large bathrooms, and appreciate the presence of on-site parking. While the building boasts beautiful Victorian features, some guests have noted that the single-glazed windows can let in noise. Overall, it's considered a good value for money, particularly for its prime location.

Positive Experience

central location ample parking nice interior friendly staff
The hotel's central location was excellent for accessing nearby attractions. Ample parking space was available for a reasonable fee (I paid £6 for 24 hours. The interior design had some nice elements. The staff members were friendly and cute.
The hotel is undergoing refurbishment, so there was scaffolding outside the building, this impacted the view a little.
Dining

The buffet featured ample choices, I found (especially the cooked english breakfast) satisfactory. The staff ensured quick refills of the buffet. I think fresh fruits would be a nice addition to the existing choices.
